Coach Boyd was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. He started badminton with the Singh HH team where many of the national players are from. After a year of training, coach Boyd became number one in the team and won 1st at Bangkok Championship in 2001 Achievements • North Carolina Open 2015 (XD) [Runner Up] • North Carolina Open 2014 (MD) [Champion] • Grand Prix Gold US Open 2014 (MD) [Quarter Finalist] • Boston Open 2011 (MS) [Runner Up] • Chicago Open 2011 (MS, MD) [Champion] • Washington DC Open 2011 (XD) [Bronze] • Texin Open 2011, 2012, 2014 (MD) [Champion] • Houston Open 2008- 2011 (MS, MD, XD) [Champion] • Dallas Open 2008 (MS) [Champion] Coaching experience Boyd started his career in 2002 as a coach for the Singh HH Badminton Club in Thailand. After 6 years of working with many different clubs in Thailand, he moved to the USA, where he began to work with many clubs all around the US such as Las Vegas, Boston, California, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Chicago, and etc... He is one of the first official certified USA High Performance coaches in Texas. Many of his students got selected to represent USA in Pan Am games and World Junior Championship
